Curriculum

The centre is strongly committed to providing the highest quality care available. To do this we believe it is important to provide a warm, friendly and positive environment that fosters and encourages growth in all areas of development.

The educators we employ are all motivated, knowledgeable and highly professional. They all have knowledge and skills to provide each child with the individual care they need. The program we provide is a Play Based Curriculum informed by the children's current interests, needs and skills.

Children's programs are developed every six weeks, based on "Belonging, Being & Becoming" the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).  These programs are displayed in each room and we encourage all families to read the program, and become involved in the planning and implementation process, thereby developing valuable links between the centre and home.

The program provides the opportunity for children to develop and strengthen skills in all areas of learning, by being able to participate in individual and group experiences within our play based environment.

Our centre believes that a high-quality program allows children time and space to develop and master skills that they will carry with them throughout life. It is the role of the career to support, encourage, acknowledge and foster all these developments, no matter how big or small.

The program supports inclusion of all children and this is reflected in the language, experiences, explanations and opportunities offered to all the children.  Children’s cultural backgrounds and individual differences are respected and incorporated into the daily program offered
